Ecomedia Literacy eTwinning Project

Media are essential features of our planetary ecosystem emergency, contributing to both the problem of and solution to climate chaos, biodiversity loss, ocean acidification, deforestation, water contamination, and so on. By reconceptualizing media education, this project  plans to  connect ecology, environmental communication, ecomedia studies, environmental humanities, and ecoliteracy to bridge media literacy and education for sustainability.

The aim of the project is to attract students' interest in different thematic fields of science (stem-ecology, etc.) and to inform them with media literacy skills.Problem situations in nature will be determined and resolved with a multidisciplinary approach through stem skills.
Individuals who think with 21st century skills, protect the ecosystem and respect nature will be raised.From an early age, orientation to the professions of the future will be provided.

Medya, iklim kaosu, biyoçeşitlilik kaybı, okyanus asitlenmesi, ormansızlaşma, su kirliliği vb. sorununa ve çözümüne katkıda bulunan gezegensel ekosistem acil durumumuzun temel özellikleridir. Bu proje, medya eğitimini yeniden kavramsallaştırarak, sürdürülebilirlik için medya okuryazarlığı ve eğitim arasında köprü kurmak için ekoloji, çevresel iletişim, eko-medya çalışmaları, çevresel beşeri bilimler ve eko-okuryazarlığı birleştirmeyi planlıyor.

Projenin amacı, öğrencilerin farklı tematik bilim dallarına (kök-ekoloji vb.) ilgilerini çekmek ve onları medya okuryazarlığı becerileri ile bilgilendirmek. .

21. yüzyıl becerileri ile düşünen, ekosistemi koruyan ve doğaya saygılı bireyler yetiştirilecektir. Küçük yaşlardan itibaren geleceğin mesleklerine yönelimi sağlanacaktır.
